I.Product Introduction:
With the continuous advancement of aviation technology, flame
retardancy testing equipment for aerospace materials has gained
increasing prominence. The internationally recognized aviation fuel
burner, widely adopted for material testing in spacecraft, is now
extensively utilized. This specialized flame combustion tester for
aviation materials was developed in compliance with both
international and domestic standards, incorporating a large-scale
gas burner imported from the United States and relevant
specifications. Currently, it has been progressively adopted by
authoritative aviation research institutions in China.
The device is a multifunctional combined test bench, which can
realize the combustion test of airborne equipment, accessories and
structural parts in the designated fire zone of aircraft by large
combustible gas burner and small gas burner. The test samples
include cable and electrical connector, hose and pneumatic
components.
The latest second-generation burner has been redesigned to meet the
FAA's latest requirements. It addresses the production halt of the
first-generation prototype and resolves temperature and heat
instability issues. This burner fully complies with FAA' s
combustion testing standards for various aircraft materials.
Reference Standards

● HB 6167.14 Environmental Conditions and Test Procedures for Airborne Equipment of Civil Aircraft - Part 14: Fire Resistance, Flammability Test Flame Temperature 1100℃±80℃.

II. Aviation Pipeline Component Fire Resistance Test Apparatus
1.Test Frame: Constructed from stainless steel sheet metal, offering an aesthetic appearance and corrosion resistance. It features a standard-defined elliptical heating port, with an automatically ignitable burner. The burner cone dimensions are: length (305±3) mm, opening width (280±3) mm, and opening height (152±3) mm.
2.Burner: Employing a stainless steel structure, composed of main components including an air pressure regulator, turbulence generator, combustion tube, fuel supply pipe, igniter, and conical flame nozzle.
3.Instrumentation & Controls: Equipped with a fuel pressure gauge, fuel pressure sensor, fuel solenoid valve, fuel flow regulator, fuel temperature detection device, air pressure regulating valve, air pressure gauge, air pressure sensor, and air temperature detection device.
4.Fuel Supply: Includes a large-capacity fuel storage tank to meet the requirements for prolonged testing conditions.
5.Fuel Delivery System: Utilizes a pressure-fed fuel system (superior to conventional fuel pumps), ensuring stable fuel flow without leaks.
6.Fuel Flow Regulation: The fuel pressure regulator shall be capable of adjusting the fuel flow rate within a range of 0-10 gallons per hour (gph).
7.Burner Movement: The burner frame features an automated, movable structure. During testing, the burner automatically moves to preset positions, facilitating convenient operation.
8.Burner Angle Adjustment: The burner angle is adjustable within a range of 0 to 90 degrees.
9.Fuel & Calibration: The burner uses aviation kerosene readily available on the Chinese market.
10.Fitted with a US-imported fuel burner nozzle.
11.Equipped with a water-cooled copper tube calibration device for calibrating burner flame heat flux.
12.Equipped with several imported high-temperature thermocouples for calibrating burner flame temperature.
13.The fuel burner is capable of providing a flame temperature not less than: 1100 ± 80 °C.
14.The fuel burner is capable of providing a flame heat flux not less than: 116 kW/m².
15.Control System: Includes an independent computer control system, equipped with dedicated LabVIEW test software.
16.Equipped with a large-capacity water tank, capable of providing the necessary water flow rate throughout the testing process.
